Rookies 2023 Rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES and REGULATIONS. They are a guide and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official. TR Speedway retains the right to make all decisions and reserves the right to make any rule changes/amendments with dispute or appeal. 1) All participants must be at least 10 years of age but no more than 17 years of age on the date of the first weekly race of the season. (excludes lady drivers just getting into racing) 2) The purpose of this class is for younger drivers needing to gain experience to be competitive at the next level. Track reserves the right to move any competitor up. 3) Any competitor constantly .05 second faster than 2nd place over a 5 week span is subject to be moved up. 4) Competitor may move up and move back down, unless they win in upper class. 5) Any dispute on age birth certificate will be needed.
